Role Description: What is a Mapping Specialist?

The Mapping role at Wipro involves working with geospatial data to improve the accuracy and functionality of digital navigation systems (like Google Maps).

Key Responsibilities:

Data Validation: Reviewing and verifying geospatial data to ensure navigation instructions are precise.
Geospatial Analysis: Utilizing GIS (Geographic Information Systems) and GPS technology to update points of interest (POI), street names, and traffic flow data.
Navigation Tool Optimization: Working extensively with internal navigation tools and features to ensure a seamless routing experience for global users.
