Job Description & Core Objectives

The team at Emerson is looking for a Data Analyst I to support the MEA IBT team in managing critical Install Base data. Your primary mission will involve the collection, collation, validation, and sourcing of essential technical data, including site walkdown data and obsolescence mapping.

In this role, you will play a vital part in transforming historical, paper-based records into searchable digital archives. By streamlining manual processes through automated solutions, you will ensure high data integrity. Success in this role depends on quality assurance, active database maintenance, and effective cross-functional collaboration.

Key Roles and Responsibilities

As a Data Analyst I at Emerson, your daily tasks will include:

Data Management: Supporting the MEA IBT team in managing Install Base data through collection, validation, and sourcing.

Database Maintenance: Regularly updating the latest valve information, modifications, and obsolescence replacement data.

Quality Assurance: Providing quality assurance for imported data using rigorous validation and cleaning practices.

Digital Transformation: Leading the effort to transform historical paper-based scanned serials into searchable digital Excel archives.

Process Automation: Identifying and streamlining laborious manual processes by applying automated solutions and optimizing workflows.
