Salary & Pay Scale Details

Selected candidates will receive salaries as per the 7th CPC (Central Pay Commission) norms along with central allowances:

  • Assistant (Group B): Starts with a basic pay in Level-7, reaching up to Rs. 1,42,400.
  • MTS General (Group C): Starts in Level-1 with a gross salary of approximately Rs. 31,500 per month including HRA and DA.

Age Limit (As of 2026)

  • MTS General: Candidates should be between 18 to 25 years.
  • Assistant: The maximum age limit is 30 years.
  • Age Relaxation: Upper age limit relaxation is applicable as per Govt. rules (5 years for SC/ST and 3 years for OBC candidates).

Selection Process & Exam Pattern (MTS Post)

The selection for the MTS post is highly competitive yet simple, based on a 50-marks Computer Based Test (CBT).

  • Reasoning: 15 Marks – Tests logical thinking and pattern recognition.
  • General Awareness: 10 Marks – Current affairs and general knowledge.
  • English Language: 10 Marks – Basic grammar and vocabulary.
  • Total: 50 Marks.

Since the application mode is Offline, you must follow these steps carefully to avoid rejection:

  2. Fill in all details manually, paste a recent passport-size photograph, and sign across it.
  3. Attach self-attested copies of your 10th/Degree marks memos, Caste certificate, and ID proof.
